Villagers labor long hours as indentured servants, working off insurmountable debt making kiln-fired bricks. Their children are trapped in the cycle of poverty but receive hope in Christ through Sunday schools that native Christian workers provide in various villages. Recently teams of evangelists visiting villages also shared the gospel with many people, distributing Bibles and planting four house churches in remote areas that more than 200 people now attend. Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such evangelistic outreach and follow-up. Pray for opportunities for children to break the cycle of poverty.
“In pointing out these things to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the good doctrine which you have been following.” (1 Timothy 4:6)
