A tribal group in a remote jungle village heard the gospel for the first time when native Christian workers recently visited them. After three days, 25 villagers accepted Christ. The team appointed one of the tribal converts to lead the new group.

A local missionary crossed a dangerous river in a canoe also carrying his motorcycle, and after riding through jungle thick with foliage and wild animals for 10 hours, he spoke to a small congregation under some trees. “Many people, crying and broken, received Christ in their hearts after the message and evangelistic materials were delivered,” the ministry leader said.

Argentine Evangelist Perseveres in Jungle Mission

A native missionary was the only one who knew how to reach a jungle community in northern Argentina. Returning to the area to share the gospel and bring discipleship materials to a small church plant, the worker spent 10 hours making his way through thick foliage to reach the destitute tribal people. “It’s a risk,” the leader said.
