Pray that those battling addiction will trust the Lord to uphold them. During a local ministry’s church service, one of the church leaders came forward and confessed to a cigarette addiction. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the man was able to quit, and though his unbelieving friends mocked his decision and encouraged him to return to his old ways, he was able to completely rely on God and stand firm. “This testimony is the reality of man’s need for God,” the ministry leader said. “How great is God’s grace in saving men.” Your donations of $25 or $50 support local ministries with their evangelism and discipleship.
