Support Spread of the Gospel in Vietnam

January 29

In high mountain villages where most people are illiterate, local missionaries shared the gospel using illustrated Bibles. Six members of one ethnic group put their faith in Christ, and workers have continued teaching them how to follow the Lord. As local officials do not allow villagers to hear the gospel and police follow visitors to the area, the workers relied on their native expertise to find ways to bring word of the kingdom to their countrymen. They are also working on translating the Bible into the local language. Donations are sought for such gospel work. Pray for strength, wisdom and faith for both workers and new Christians.

“And now I entrust you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
