April 3
The Lord penetrated the hearts of criminals as local Christian workers proclaimed the gospel in prison courtyards. “Several converted to the Lord and along with others attend the daily services,” the native ministry leader said. The ministry’s Bible institute trains prisoners, prison leaders and area church members, while its seminary provides theological grounding for missionaries, pastors and other church leaders. Workers also teach the Bible to prisoners’ children and other villagers, sometimes translating Scripture into their ethnic tongues. Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such gospel proclamation and discipleship. Pray prisoners and villagers who have accepted Christ will know Him ever more deeply.
“For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” (Romans 5:10)
