Native workers recently provided 239 new Christians with foundational training to set them on the path of discipleship in local churches. Basic tenets of the faith were taught over three days. One high school girl said she learned much about the Lord and the Bible but was especially thankful to learn of the role of baptism as a public testimony of faith. The ministry also provided 10 weeks of leadership training to 15 men whom local churches saw as potential leaders, and during the same period workers planted three house churches. Donations are sought for such training, discipleship and evangelism. Workers request prayer for health and safety.
“…and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” (Ephesians 5:2)
