Pray the transformative power of Christ will restore hope to the hopeless. Two years ago, two local missionaries dedicated themselves to the children of a remote, poverty-stricken village. The children were shoeless and often did not attend school, which meant many of them were unable to read. As part of their service, the missionaries provided free dinners and helped the children bathe and dress. Now, 40 children attend church service under a tree each Sunday, and people in surrounding villages are amazed at the change the gospel brought to this community. “Today, it is a community exemplifying the transformation of God’s power,” the ministry leader said.
