Today's Prayer Request
Horses alleviate burdens of traveling missionaries
PERU. An indigenous missionary serving among the Quechua people with New Life Evangelistic Ministry reports, “I am teaching the Bible every day of the week at my local congregation, as new believers are eager to learn. By the grace of our Lord, I was able to start three more fellowships in the villages of Tanak, Kañaris and Siges. They are far away and I walk to get to those places, many times while it is raining.” Pray for ten faithful missionaries who need a horse ($500 each) for follow-up and reaching new villages.

CHRISTIAN AID sends financial support to over 800 indigenous ministries that deploy at least 80,000 native missionaries. They are taking the gospel of Christ to more than 3000 previously unreached tribes and nations in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. These pioneer missionaries evangelize unreached people and plant churches in countries where American missionaries are no longer allowed to go. Contributions are needed to help them. All gifts designated for specific ministries are sent 100% to the ministry, and no portion is deducted for administrative expenses.

Punjab Ministries of India regularly conducts outside evangelistic outreaches in North India. In 2011, when the missionary team held an open- air meeting in one of the villages, they reported a wonderful work of God among the crowd of about 250 people. After they gathered, the missionary preached the gospel and 19 villagers repented from their sin and received Jesus Christ as their Savior. Afterward, 14 of them were baptized. Read more.
