While Christianity is spreading at a rapid pace throughout Latin America, its expansion has been somewhat shallow and lacks societal change. For instance, countries in Central America have the largest Protestant populations in the region, but corruption, violence, and extreme poverty are still rampant in these countries.
From the poverty-stricken villages at the top of the Andes Mountains in Peru to the gang-ridden slums of Guatemala City, indigenous ministries in Latin America are nurturing children with the love of Christ. Through Christian Aid Mission’s sponsorship program, these ministries are providing children with hot meals, afterschool recreation, clothing, school supplies, and discipleship in God’s Word. Instead of joining a gang or becoming involved in drugs or prostitution, these children grow up to love and serve Jesus, making a positive impact on their communities.
Your monthly support will help reach children in Latin America with the gospel.
