Pray for missionaries in places that restrict Christian work. Even though a local ministry was using government-sanctioned Bibles during its worship service, local authorities arrived one day and took one of the Bibles as well as a children’s Bible. They then fined the pastor and held a trial, alleging the ministry did not have official permission to use the children’s Bible. One week later, the pastor was sentenced to one year of probation, and the ministry leader was ordered to regularly check in with the authorities.
