Pray the spiritual eyes of the lost will be opened to God’s goodness. A man who liked to argue with local missionaries about the false beliefs of Christians asked for a New Testament so he could show them the lies in it. But as he began to read, his spiritual eyes were opened. “He noticed how merciful Jesus was to those he connected with,” the ministry leader said. “So, we shared with him how Jesus came into this world to rescue those who were most needy, and he began to cry.” The man gave his life to Christ and was baptized. Your donations support missionaries in their ministry to the lost.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.” (Psalm 34:8)

Pray that refugees will hear the word of the Lord and give their lives to Him. A young refugee who came to know Jesus through a local ministry still daily struggles because he cannot legally work and does not have the finances to support himself. But because of what he learned of Jesus through the ministry, he remains faithful to Jesus, trusting in Him despite his difficulties. Recently, he even asked the ministry leader about tithing. “We are witnessing how he got baptized and how he is growing in Jesus,” the ministry leader said. Your donations of $35 or $70 support ministries as they assist refugees in difficult times.

January 3, 2025

Pray the Lord will protect missionaries as they share the gospel in remote places. Local missionaries journeyed to a village of 100 people to share the gospel, and they were humbled by the joy with which they were met. “Despite the hardships of living without electricity and the long journeys required to fetch water, the villagers welcomed us with open arms and eager hearts,” the ministry leader said. “Their enthusiasm for hearing the message of Jesus Christ was truly inspiring.” During their visit, the missionaries distributed all the Bibles they brought with them. Your donations support evangelism in remote places.

“For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” (Proverbs 2:8)

January 4, 2025

Pray for believers who risk their lives to follow Jesus. When Muslim extremists forbade a group of believers from establishing a church in their village, one of the believers invited all of his Christian brothers and sisters to meet in his home instead. But the extremists learned of his plan, and they murdered him. “He has been killed because he became a Christian and he was providing his house to fellowship,” said a local ministry leader who works in the region where the man was murdered. Your donations of $50 or $100 support ministry among persecuted believers.

January 5, 2025

Pray for revival among the lost who hear the gospel. A local ministry recently sent a team into a nearby refugee camp to conduct a one-day medical clinic for the people who live there. During the clinic, they provided medical care and medication to approximately 120 individuals, and the doctors prayed over each person as they administered to their needs. “Many gospel seeds were planted,” the ministry leader said. “Praise God with us for this practical way to minister to people and demonstrate Christ’s love.” Donations help missionaries serve vulnerable people through medical outreach.

“For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods.” (1 Chronicles 16:25)

January 6, 2025

Pray the Lord will sustain missionaries in dangerous places. A local ministry has begun to help those displaced by the civil war that continues to plague the country. Recently, missionaries provided aid to 28 vulnerable families whose homes were destroyed in one village, and they assisted approximately 75 families in another, larger town in which more than 500 homes were burned to the ground. “Although we have been facing civil unrest, and recently natural disasters like floods, we are doing well by His grace alone,” the ministry leader said. Your donations of $40 or $80 help provide assistance to vulnerable people.

January 7, 2025

Pray the light of Christ will shine through missionaries’ medical outreach. In collaboration with nearby healthcare professionals, a local ministry organized free medical check-ups, vaccinations, and other essential medical services in the communities where they serve. The missionaries also distributed hygiene kits, provided information on proper sanitation practices to decrease the risk of spreading diseases, and ensured that pregnant women and young children received necessary care. “We remain committed to continuing this work and expanding our initiatives to reach even more people in need,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support community engagement such as this.

“They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.” (Galatians 2:10)

January 8, 2025

Pray that new believers have opportunities to deepen their faith. Local missionaries visited a remote tribe where another missionary lives and has established a church. During their three-day visit, the missionaries conducted a Bible study for the local leaders to help them gain a deeper understanding of Scripture and of their faith. They also taught on the importance of family, missions, and commitment to God. “At the end of the course, the leaders were renewed in their lives and asked us to have other courses because they lack a lot of knowledge about the Bible,” the ministry leader said. Donations of $25 or $50 support such evangelism and discipleship efforts.

January 9, 2025

Pray the Lord will provide for His people through uncertain days. Though times have grown increasingly dire in the region, one local ministry perseveres in its service to its community, particularly in its assistance to vulnerable families. Missionaries recently distributed food baskets to 90 families, they delivered medicine and medical aid to 12 families, and they gifted 55 children with school supplies. “We are focusing on the Lord and the ministry that He called us to do,” the ministry leader said. “We are so thankful to be able to help and show the love of the Lord.” Your donations of $35 or $70 assist with work such as this.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” (John 14:1)

January 10, 2025

Pray that hearts will be open to the salvation that Christ offers. On learning of the challenges suffered by a poor family in their community, a team of missionaries from a local ministry came together to build a new house for them. “It was a big blessing for this family who couldn’t afford to build a new shelter on their own,” the ministry leader said. “They saw the hand of God and are deeply grateful to God for this blessing. Praise the Lord!” Your donations support local ministries as they serve others in their communities.

January 11, 2025

Pray for local missionaries as they train new ministry workers. During the pandemic, a local ministry planted online-only churches and small groups that have recently begun to meet in person. The ministry now works face-to-face with those church planters to train them and guide them in developing actual ministries. “These are big changes for some of our new churches and groups,” the ministry leader said. “It is just like a new, emerging phase again, since we have so many new leaders raised and ready to lead through the support online.” Your donations help support this ministry growth.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)

January 12, 2025

Pray those struggling with addiction will find healing in the Lord. A young man from a well-to-do family became addicted to drugs during college. Though his parents and his wife tried to help him through treatment programs as well as with church, nothing worked. Then, one day, the young man happened upon a local ministry’s open-air worship service for their youth group. He went forward during the altar call, and the pastor prayed over him and asked for a miracle. “By the act of the Holy Spirit, the young man left his drug addiction and became a man of God,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support local ministries in this kingdom work.

January 13, 2025

Pray the Lord’s healing on those who have been broken and abused. A girl from an abusive family arrived at a local ministry’s children’s home overwhelmed by past trauma. But through the dedicated kindness of ministry workers, she slowly began to change. After two years of attendance at a nearby Christian school and through the constant prayers and devotionals from ministry workers, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. “She still has many areas of her life that need to be transformed,” the ministry leader said. “But she is persevering, thanks to God.” Your donations support missionaries in their ministry to others.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)

January 14, 2025

Pray for missionaries who share the gospel to those opposed to Jesus. The wife of a wealthy village leader attended a local church plant, but her husband beat her each time she returned home. Though one of the missionaries shared the gospel with the man, he was not interested in it until one day, when bandits stole his cattle. He asked the missionary to pray for him, admitting that the God his wife worshiped might be the true God. When his cows were miraculously returned, the man called his entire family together to pray, and he gave his life to Christ. Donations help support missionaries in their evangelism and discipleship efforts.

January 15, 2025

Pray that ministries will be fruitful despite challenging times. Though life remains difficult and uncertain, a local ministry continues to persevere with its program for the deaf. The ministry operates a YouTube channel that broadcasts sermons alongside sign language, and recently, several people who participate in the program came to church, a result of a personal invitation from missionaries they met. Also, one year ago, two listeners gave their lives to Jesus and were baptized in the Jordan River. Your donations help ministries continue with evangelism such as this during challenging times.

“Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you.” (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

January 16, 2025

Pray the Lord will touch the hearts of those who read His word. A man from an indigenous tribe received a Bible from local missionaries and, after reading of Jesus and the salvation message, he gave his life to Christ. He was one of many people from four different tribes who were gifted a Bible by those missionaries during a six-month period. “Many people have read the Bibles, and the word of God has touched their hearts, and they’ve accepted Jesus Christ,” the ministry leader said. “Their lives have been changed.” Your donations support missionaries in their evangelism efforts to unreached people.

January 17, 2025

Pray that missionaries’ outreach will encourage the lost to learn about Jesus. Families received firewood and food from a local ministry that planted a church in their community. Because of this outreach, many people began to visit the church, with one man consistently attending every Sunday. “This ministry is not only supplying the needs of people, but it is also overflowing in thanksgiving to God!” the ministry leader said. “It’s an open door for the gospel, an open door into their homes and hearts. So thankful!” Donations support outreach such as this.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28)

January 18, 2025

Pray that those battling addiction will trust the Lord to uphold them. During a local ministry’s church service, one of the church leaders came forward and confessed to a cigarette addiction. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the man was able to quit, and though his unbelieving friends mocked his decision and encouraged him to return to his old ways, he was able to completely rely on God and stand firm. “This testimony is the reality of man’s need for God,” the ministry leader said. “How great is God’s grace in saving men.” Your donations of $25 or $50 support local ministries with their evangelism and discipleship.

January 19, 2025

Pray that local missionaries will be encouraged as they fellowship together. Nearly 200 ministry workers from two regions recently participated in a local ministry’s Leadership Development Program in which they worked in small groups to learn ways to lead Bible study participants into ministry work. “During the small group discussions, the participants were reminded that they should be able to perpetuate a reproducible ministry,” the ministry leader said. “They discussed the step-by-step process on how to help people become workers of the Lord Jesus.” Donations support ministry events such as this.

“Then Judas and Silas, both being prophets, spoke at length to the believers, encouraging and strengthening their faith.” (Acts 15:32)

January 20, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they seek to build relationships with the lost. A man who became blinded by false religion met local missionaries who built a relationship with him and helped lead him to the Lord. Because of their warmth and encouragement, he became curious about Christianity. He began to attend Bible study and various church activities, where his desire for spiritual nourishment grew. “We never gave up on him,” the ministry leader said. “Instead, we intentionally reached out to him and got to know him.” Your donations support missionaries in their every-day service to the lost.

January 21, 2025

Pray for local missionaries to be encouraged in their every-day service for Jesus. Every Friday and Sunday, approximately 60 men, women, and children come together at a local ministry’s church for lunch and fellowship. In addition to organizing this gathering, the ministry workers lead 16 monthly home groups and multiple house churches, they organize seminars and training programs, care for the widowed and elderly, visit hospitals, and distribute gospel tracts. “After distributing gospel tracts, we send our evangelical team to visit the people who are interested to know more or who want to come to church,” the ministry leader said. Donations of $25 or $50 support this evangelism and discipleship.

“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” (Hebrews 3:13)

January 22, 2025

Pray for new pastors as they enter the mission field. Through participation in a local ministry throughout his childhood, a young boy not only gave his life to Jesus but, when he became an adult, he studied theology and became the pastor of a congregation that the ministry planted more than 20 years ago. “He has always said that his Christian formation was received while he studied the Bible in our Sunday school and also attended our church,” the ministry leader said. Your gifts support local ministries as they disciple the next generation of Christ followers.

January 23, 2025

Pray the lost will be transformed by the power of the gospel. Villages in the northern part of the country that were once nearly 100 percent Muslim have been converted to Christ through audio Bibles distributed by a local ministry. “Three villages already have churches planted,” the ministry leader said. “So many people who have audio listening groups understand the persuasion of God’s word. The Lord is doing wonders among the nations.” Your donations support local missionaries in their evangelism to unreached people.

“Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” (Habakkuk 3:2)

January 24, 2025

Pray for persecuted Christians who suffer in the name of Jesus. Though a house church of 36 believers had been meeting together without any problem for several months, local officials recently came to members’ homes and questioned them about their church-related activities. After the believers were told they must adhere to traditional customs rather than worship God, their identification cards were confiscated, and they were held for hours without any resolution. “We hope to be ensured the right to freedom of religion, to worship God peacefully,” said one of the church members. Your donations support persecuted Christians in times of need.

January 25, 2025

Pray the Lord will open the hearts of the lost to hear the gospel message. During a six-month period, local missionaries personally witnessed to people through gatherings at coffee shops, visits to new friends’ homes, or during outings in town. “If we see an open heart, we tell our testimony and we invite you to personal meetings where we conduct discipleship,” the ministry leader said. “We give the Bible and teach how to study it, and we read it together and discuss questions.” Your donations support missionaries in their evangelism efforts.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’” (Isaiah 52:7)

January 26, 2025

Pray the Lord will provide for the suffering and destitute. As a team of missionaries went door-to-door to pray for people, they came upon a destitute family with four children. The father suffered from kidney problems but could not afford a specialist, the home had no lights, and the children had no food. The missionaries collected solar panels to provide the family with light, they brought them groceries, and they purchased pain medication for the father. “We were very tearful when we left,” the ministry leader said. “But God will come through for them.” Your gifts enable local missionaries to provide life-changing resources to people in need.

January 27, 2025

Pray that missionaries will daily seek God’s guidance. A member of a local ministry’s youth group became addicted to drugs, and his family contacted the ministry leader for help. “I discussed with him my commitment to supporting him throughout his journey toward recovery, not only as a spiritual guide but also as a mentor and friend,” the ministry leader said. “I listened to his struggles without judgment and integrated the principles of his faith into his recovery process. By the grace of God, he left all the bad habits and turned to God.” Your donations of $60 or $120 support missionaries as they serve in their communities.

“The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious and adds persuasiveness to his lips.” (Proverbs 16:23)

January 28, 2025

Pray the salvation story will transform entire communities. Through the evangelism of a local ministry, members of a small, ethnic minority who live in a region opposed to the gospel have begun to listen to the Word of God and give their lives to Jesus. Their transformations are largely the result of the ministry’s distribution of MP3s and USB drives, which are filled with resources such as audio Bibles, books, and hundreds of radio programs. “Is this not wonderful?” the ministry leader said. Your gifts help missionaries provide such resources to the lost.

January 29, 2025

Pray that those seeking fulfillment will turn to the Lord. A young woman who ran away from her Christian faith was encouraged by her parents to enroll at a local ministry’s Bible school after her health deteriorated from her lifestyle of drinking and smoking. Three months into the program, her health improved, and she began to develop a deeper understanding of Jesus. “I couldn’t imagine how my life would turn out without others’ intercession and God’s healing,” she said. “I have experienced God’s healing and revelation.” Your donations of $50 or $100 support evangelism programs such as this.

“And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.” (Psalm 89:5)

January 30, 2025

Pray for church planters in difficult times. Despite increasing extremist violence, a local ministry recently organized a church planting training event in which 30 people participated. As part of the program, each person was also trained in a practical skill of their choice to help them establish and support themselves in the communities to which they are sent. Some learned restaurant management, beading, tailoring, or shoemaking, while others learned carpentry and vegetable gardening. “We praise God that all graduated,” the ministry leader said. “We are progressively sending them out to relatively safe areas to start their ministries.” Your donations support these ministry endeavors.

January 31, 2025

Pray the joy of the Lord will rest on local missionaries as they share the gospel message with others. Local missionaries serve their communities through life-changing outreach such as medical clinics, the provision of food to vulnerable families, or leading classes to teach men and women skills that will provide them with sustainable incomes. These efforts to engage with their neighbors not only changes lives, but it also opens the door for missionaries to share the gospel. Please consider a donation today to help Christian Aid Mission support these missionaries in their daily efforts to bring the lost into the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
