Pray that missionaries will be the light of Christ as they care for the vulnerable in their communities. When local ministry workers learned of a widow in their community who lost the roof of her home during severe storms, they raised funds through their church to buy the materials and hire a builder to reconstruct her roof. “She now lives well within our community,” the ministry leader said. “This kindness advertises the name of our Lord Jesus and our church among the community.” Your donations support missionaries as they serve in their communities.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)

June 2, 2025

Pray for opportunities to share the gospel during challenging times. More than 10,000 people were evacuated from their communities in one South Asian country after severe floods affected the area. At least 15 people died, electricity was cut off, public transportation stopped, and access to clean water became difficult. Local missionaries immediately responded by distributing blankets, food, and clothing for adults and children throughout relief camps. “People were in desperate need of help,” the ministry leader said. “Many recipients expressed their gratitude with tears in their eyes.” Your donations help with such emergency relief.

June 3, 2025

Pray the peace of Christ over persecuted believers. When a woman from a strict Muslim family was discovered reading the New Testament, her relatives persecuted her. During this time of persecution, she dreamed she was with a crowd walking toward Jesus, and He called her name. When she drew nearer to Him, He told her how much He loved her. Later, when she told local missionaries about the dream, she not only expressed the joy that filled her when He called her name, but she also chose to publicly declare her faith at the local church. Your donations assist persecuted believers.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27)

June 4, 2025

Pray that local church leaders will abide in Jesus. During a church training session led by a local ministry, a woman in a church leadership position admitted she struggled with deep-rooted anger that often carried over into her interactions with others. As she spoke, she began to weep in repentance and asked forgiveness from all those she had hurt. “The woman’s courageous act of repentance sparked a chain reaction of healing that would leave a lasting impact on the entire group,” the ministry leader said. “The presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable.” Your donations support such discipleship and evangelism opportunities.

Pray the Lord will provide wisdom to local missionaries as they disciple others. Almost every day, local missionaries conduct evening discipleship ministries in various places. During this time, believers study Christianity together to deepen their faith, focusing on topics such as Christmas and Easter, as well as other relevant issues through Christian booklets that the ministry prints for distribution and study purposes. “Our ministry is printing Bible lessons, distribution around Indonesia, seminars, training with various topics, and discipleship through small groups,” the ministry leader said. Your donations of $25 or $50 help support evangelism and discipleship such as this.

“Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard rather than the shout of a ruler of fools.” (Ecclesiastes 9:17)

June 6, 2025

Pray for missionaries who translate Scripture into different languages. One year ago, a woman from an indigenous tribe dreamed a group of people came to her community and spoke the Word of God in her language. Recently, a member of a local ministry’s translation team met the woman and gifted her with an audio Bible translated into her language. The woman remembered her dream and she, along with several of her neighbors, gave their lives to Jesus. “This was a personal and surprising encounter in their lives,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support the translation of Scripture into indigenous languages.

June 7, 2025

Pray for Christian workers as they prepare for ministry work. Eleven students are currently enrolled at a local ministry’s Bible school and are studying the letters of Timothy in preparation for future ministry work. “Our prayer is that God is developing a new generation of young Timothys full of faith and integrity to build a strong church in this country,” the ministry leader said. In addition to this discipleship, the students are also learning skills such as leatherwork, carpentry, and tailoring so they can support themselves. Your donations help train missionaries.

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” (Ephesians 4:11-12)

June 8, 2025

Pray the light of Jesus will shine through local missionaries as they help others. During the course of a month, local missionaries distributed much-needed food and clothing to thousands of people, including two thousand people in 23 leprosy colonies. “Our hearts were touched when some of the leprosy sufferers approached us after the distribution,” the ministry leader said. “Their faces lit up with joyful tears, expressing their deep gratitude for the gifts they had received. Despite losing limbs and eyesight, and suffering from infectious wounds, they were filled with happiness and expressed their heartfelt appreciation.” Donations of $35 or $70 help provide relief to the poor and suffering.

June 9, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they share the gospel in remote places. Missionaries from a local ministry traveled to a remote place to share the gospel, and the results of their journey were cause for great celebration. At least 12 people gave their lives to Jesus and they in turn began to share the gospel with others. “This group of people had a strong thirst for the Word and the truth,” the ministry leader said. “We thank God for them and pray that God will protect them.” Donations of $25 or $50 support missionaries in such evangelism efforts.

“Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.” (Psalm 9:11)

June 10, 2025

Pray for new believers to put their trust fully in Christ. A young man who recently gave his life to Christ continued to struggle with self-reproach because he came from a family that worshipped idols. Ministry workers encouraged the other young people in the fellowship he attended to encourage him and try to be his friend. Because of their perseverance, the young man slowly began to grow in his faith and confidence and now actively participates in fellowship and ministry work. Donations of $60 or $120 support Christian workers in their discipleship of new believers.

June 11, 2025

Pray believers will boldly share the gospel. A doctor and medical school professor wanted his students to know the Lord, and he shared the gospel with his classes at the end of his lectures. “It was fulfilling for him because he did not only impart medical knowledge to his students but also, the most important message of salvation,” a local ministry leader said. “He has a burning desire for his students to obtain a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. And, with boldness and enthusiasm, he also shares the gospel with his patients.” Your donations assist with such evangelism.

“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.” (Philemon 6)

June 12, 2025

Pray the power of the gospel changes lives. Two girls, ages 7 and 10, attended a day camp held by a local ministry and, because they were from out of town, they stayed at the home of one of the camp mentors. As a result, the girls spent time each evening discussing the gospel with the mentor. “They asked many questions about Jesus, and they also learned for the first time that you can pray and talk to God,” the ministry leader said. “The girls are both from unbelieving families, but they learned a lot about Jesus at camp. Thank God!” Your donations of $30 support such outreach to children.

June 13, 2025

Pray for theological students as they train for the ministry. A local ministry’s theological institute welcomes new indigenous students each year into its program, and this year, 14 students from different ethnic groups are studying together to prepare for future roles in the ministry. “Our ministry’s mission and vision are to prepare indigenous leaders biblically by providing them with tools to extend and preserve the use of their language, thus preserving their cultural identity,” the ministry leader said. “It is important that they prepare themselves so they can properly interpret the Word of God.” Donations of $60 or $120 assist with such leadership and discipleship training.

June 14, 2025

Pray the Lord will transform those buried in spiritual darkness. During a visit to a Christian rehabilitation center, local missionaries met a man whose wife and daughter left him because of his addiction. He also lost his job and his home and was almost forced to live on the street until he was accepted into the center. The man heard the gospel message from the missionaries and prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior. “His face was shining, and he is now leading prayers and Bible reading sessions at the center,” the ministry leader said. Your donations of $25 or $50 support such evangelism and discipleship.

June 15, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they lead training events. A local ministry recently held its first Disciple Making Movement Camp, a three-day event attended by 57 people from Burkina Faso as well as from five other countries. Most of the attendees were already engaging in disciple-making practices in their ministry work, and all enjoyed learning of one another’s strategies, particularly regarding how to evangelize and disciple different ethnic groups. “One of the attendees commented that he was amazed at the wisdom and strategy God had given to believers in their outreach to others in their ethnic group,” the ministry leader said. Donations of $60 or $120 assist with training events such as this.

“And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.” (Titus 2:7)

June 16, 2025

Praise the Lord as the lost surrender their hearts to Christ. A local ministry leader praised the Lord for the abundant harvest he is witnessing through a television program on which he routinely preaches the Word of God. The program is broadcast in five languages, and the ministry receives hundreds of calls from listeners hoping to learn more about Jesus. One recent caller admitted he had abandoned his aging parents, but upon hearing the program, he returned home to be their caregiver. “The truths of the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit are touching hundreds of people,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support evangelism such as this.

June 17, 2025

Pray the hungry and hopeless will fix their eyes on Jesus. A man, his wife, and their baby girl fled to Jordan due to severe hardship in their home country. But they continued to struggle with financial problems. When local missionaries met them, they prayed for the family, and they provided them with food, milk for their baby, and iron pills for the mother. The mother continues to live with high levels of anxiety, however, and the family has not yet given their lives to Jesus. But the missionaries are hopeful that their prayers and continued support will guide them to the Lord. Your donations of $35 or $70 support such compassionate assistance.

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.” (Job 13:15)

June 18, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they share the gospel with unreached people. After local missionaries learned of a village of unreached people deep in the jungle, they sent a team there and began to pray for a ministry opportunity. Soon, they began distributing food because the people had not worked since the military coup began four years ago. As they went house to house with these provisions, they also shared Jesus. Then, they organized a worship service in a small hut. Now, approximately 12 families attend the service each week, and two men have given their lives to Christ. Your donations of $60 or $120 support missionaries in this gospel work.

June 19, 2025

Pray that Christian workers will remain confident in Jesus’ immeasurable power. Even though a local ministry worker served as a camp counselor at the ministry’s children’s camp, he was skeptical about whether children could truly understand the meaning of salvation in such a short period of time. But when he saw the children admit their sins and give their lives to Jesus, he confessed that he was wrong and had incorrectly chosen to believe God had limited power. “Now, he visits children’s homes regularly and has a strong sense of urgency for teens to know the Lord,” the ministry leader said. Your donations assist with life-changing evangelism work.

“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being full persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” (Romans 4:20-21)

June 20, 2025

Praise the Lord with local missionaries as they see the power of Jesus transforming their communities. A local ministry is joyfully celebrating the fruits of their labor as house church meetings for believers from a Muslim background continue to grow. “Souls are growing in the Word, and the gospel is being shared with many,” the ministry leader said. “The Lord has blessed us with a third meeting center in a large city with about 70 people in attendance.” So many people attend this meeting, which is held in a small hall, that most must sit on the floor to listen. Your donations support such evangelism and discipleship.

June 21, 2025

Pray that refugees will find peace in Jesus. A Christian from a MENA country was shot because of his faith, but he survived and managed to make his way as a refugee to the Netherlands, where he was given shelter at a refugee camp. Local missionaries met him and now support him, especially through prayers for him and his family, who left him because of his faith. “He is really an example for the people around him because he always is talking about Jesus who saved him,” the ministry leader said. Your donations of $34 or $68 assist missionaries in their support of refugees.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

June 22, 2025

Pray the Word of the Lord will transform the lost. After a local ministry leader shared the gospel at an evangelism event, a young man admitted to him that he used to steal and cause problems in his village. He wanted to know if Jesus would forgive him for these sins. The ministry leader told him yes, he was a new creation in Christ. “Oh, how I wish you could have seen his face,” the ministry leader later reported. “He had a big smile, and he was very happy to receive a Bible for the first time in his life.” Your donations of $50 or $100 assist with such evangelism and discipleship.

June 23, 2025

Pray for the persecuted to remain strong in their faith. In a region of one South Asian country, a government official has forbidden members of certain groups from participating in church worship. “We ask God to act in the heart of this leader, that he will not be much of a burden to our people,” the ministry leader said. The ministry leader also worries for a local pastor who continues to receive warnings about sharing the gospel with an indigenous tribe. “The threat of persecution is not improving,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support missionaries who share the gospel in places opposed to it.

“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)

June 24, 2025

Pray the broken and disillusioned will open their hearts to Jesus. A drug addict was not interested in changing his life, despite having heard the gospel many times. But one day, a pastor visited him and said: “God can help you. Christ died on the cross for our sins, and He loves you and your family very much.” That day, the Holy Spirit worked in the man’s heart, and he turned his life around. Now, he and his family are members of a nearby church, and he gives his testimony to other addicts. Your donations help support local missionaries as they share Jesus with the lost.

June 25, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they prepare to plant new churches. A local ministry leads a “Church Planters Institute” in which participants learn the necessary tools of church planting. Only those recommended by a local pastor are permitted to enroll in the year-long course, and they must also believe they have a calling from the Lord for such work. “Participants learn how to map an area where a church is planned to be planted and how to make an outreach strategy,” the ministry leader said. During the course, the participants must also begin to put into practice what they learn. Your donations help provide such assistance for evangelism and discipleship.

“Then He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'” (Matthew 4:19)

June 26, 2025

Pray the Lord will comfort the suffering. Women from a local church joined together to care for an elderly woman in the final stages of lung cancer and her daughter, who suffers from mental illness. Together, the church women prepare and bring meals to the mother and daughter, they do their laundry, and they help them clean. One woman even brings the adult daughter to spend the night in her home some nights so the mother can rest easier. “Because of God’s love, these church sisters serve willingly and joyfully,” the ministry leader said. “The elderly woman has deeply experienced God’s love.” Your donations are needed for such outreach.

June 27, 2025

Pray that Bibles reach those who yearn to know God’s Word. A new believer from a Muslim background received a Bible from a local missionary, and as he read, he increasingly understood the truth about Christianity versus what he had been taught from Islam. “What struck me the most as I read the Bible was that God cares for me as an individual,” he said. “I am reading it every morning and every evening and I am thankful someone was able to share with me this precious gift.” Your donations of $32 or $64 help missionaries distribute Bibles to those who might not otherwise have access to Scripture.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24)

June 28, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they disciple the broken hearted. A young woman was led to attend a nearby evangelism event even though she had decided to commit suicide. During the event, the ministry leader spoke of Judas Iscariot and his fate. Upon hearing this teaching, the young woman sprang from her seat, went to the front of the church, and repented. “Today, I wanted to commit suicide because life is so painful,” she said. “But upon hearing this Word, I know I want to complete my mission for Jesus Christ.” The young woman is now being counseled by the church pastor. Donations support Christian workers in their evangelism and discipleship work.

June 29, 2025

Pray for missionaries as they journey to remote places to share the good news of Jesus. Local missionaries traveled to several remote villages where they shared the gospel with hundreds and provided basic necessities to 53 people living in destitution. But they encountered rough weather on their return journey, and their boat overturned. “By God’s goodness, we made it through the event unscathed and are thankful for His protection,” the ministry leader said. Your donations support missionaries who travel long and often difficult distances for the sake of the gospel.

June 30, 2025

Pray for local missionaries as they carry the gospel to the unreached. Local missionaries often risk their lives to obey the Lord’s calling. Sometimes, their vans break down or their boats overturn. Storms overtake them and war might entrap them. But when their transportation is gone, they find another way. When the rain falls, they get wet. And when angry mobs threaten them, they pray for protection and continue on because they will obey the Lord, no matter the cost. Please consider a donation today to help Christian Aid Mission find, vet, and assist these missionaries as they persevere in the Lord’s work, bringing the gospel to those who have never heard it before.
