During strict COVID-19 lockdowns that have limited people’s ability to buy food, native missionaries have been able to continue offering discipleship crucial for anxiety-stricken Christians. One young Christian woman bore a grudge toward the Lord for not intervening. “Thank the Lord that God’s words gradually changed her, and she slowly found peace and comfort in His words,” the native ministry leader said. “She started to minister to two sisters in her apartment complex and reach out to her neighbors.” Workers need donations of $60 or $120 to proclaim Christ and guide new believers to maturity. Pray for outreach to youth to grow and flourish.
“For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?” (1 Thess. 2:19)
