A witchdoctor who led people to worship demons, destroyed homes and provided trinkets attributed with metaphysical powers recently put his faith in Christ and has joined a native ministry’s discipleship group. “Glory to God, because after we preached to him, he gave his life to God and rejected the charms he was using,” the ministry leader said. “The people who used to go to get charms from him are now coming to Jesus Christ.” The ministry recently planted four churches. Workers need donations of $25 or $50 for such gospel work. Pray the love that outsiders see in new churches will draw them into fellowship.
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” (Psalm 145:13)
