Torrential rains have pounded various countries in the region, inundating homes with water and turning streets and farmlands into rivers. Flooding and landslides have led to the deaths of many people. Survivors are in desperate need of food, water and other aid as they consider how to rebuild their damaged or destroyed homes. “We face natural disasters every year such as cyclones, flooding and winter cold,” the leader of one ministry said. “Funds help us a lot to come alongside people in need during the disasters.” Donations of $35 or $70 are sought to provide critical aid and help people rebuild their homes. Pray the Lord’s name will be glorified as people recover their lives.
