Pray the love of Christ will shine through local ministries’ service to others. A local ministry’s micro-financing project for vulnerable women has enabled many to earn an income. Some women invest the funds in commercial kitchen utensils, which they then rent out or use when they are hired to cater events, such as banquets, marriages, and birthday parties. During a six-month period, the project benefited more than 120 households. “The strategy is an informal approach, which means one does not necessarily have to be directly preaching the Bible, except through storytelling and practical demonstration of God’s love,” the ministry leader said. Donations support ministries as they assist families in need.
