Pray that communities will be transformed by the gospel. A town that once held a festival to celebrate the transition of a girl into womanhood now uses the festival as an opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of its local church following the introduction of the gospel to the people there. “The people by tradition are a very happy people,” the ministry leader said. “After they embraced the gospel, they now gather to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus.” The most recent festival brought together more than 800 people, and eight new believers were baptized. Donations of $25 or $50 support missionaries in their evangelism efforts.
