Pray the disheartened will find joy in the Lord. After years in an abusive marriage, a young woman returned to her parents’ home, unwilling to remain with her abusive husband any longer. But the young woman needed to help support her family. Local missionaries encouraged her to enroll in their ministry’s vocational training program, and she agreed. “When we saw her for the first time, she looked helpless and broken,” the ministry leader said. “We sat with her and prayed together.” The young woman soon completed training to work in a nail salon, and today, she thanks God for the training she received.
