Reach Refugees for Christ in Europe

January 25

Refugees from Africa, the Middle East and other areas of conflict take life-threatening risks to migrate to European countries in desperate efforts to survive. Arriving at areas where local people are increasingly hostile toward migrants, the refugees frequently find that native Christian workers are the only ones offering them aid. Along with food, clothing, shelter and legal help, workers give them warm welcomes as they meet felt needs and offer hope in Christ. Often they arrange for badly needed medical care. Donations of $35 or $70 are sought to provide such aid to often traumatized refugees. Pray for God’s mercy on refugees facing serious threats and health problems.

“I will rejoice and be glad in Your faithfulness, Because You have seen my misery; You have known the troubles of my soul.” (Psalm 31:7)
